Pollumity is a smart device that supports people with pollen allergies in their daily lives. It measures the accurate pollen concentration in your area and sends the data to your smartphone. The pollumity community around Germany ensures correct measurements wherever you go.

Problem

Around 12 to 16 million people in Germany suffer from pollen allergies and numbers are constantly on the uprise. People with pollen allergies have the opportunity to check mobile apps so they know which kind of pollen are in which concentration in the air.

Numbers like this are measured with so called „Burkhard Fallen“ in different areas of Germany. Problematic is that there aren’t enough measuring stations over the country, which leads to incorrect measurements of pollen concentration in the air.

Solution

That’s where pollumity comes in: The smart device every person can buy and plug into their lawn or plant pots on the balcony. Pollumity measures the pollen concentration in the air in your area and sends the accurate data to the pollumity app on your smartphone. The app can be personalized, so it will only show relevant data to the specific pollen you are allergic to. It also gives a recommendation on how you should deal with the current pollen in the air.
