Process
The manufacturing process starts with making a filled bowl using a previously made stencil that represents the Lilt bowl. This bowl is then used to make a negative mould out of plaster stone. Once dried, ceramic is poured in the negative mould. When this positive mould dried, it is taken out of the negative mould. Now the for the Lilt set typical dynamic line is cut out out the model with using another stencil that ensures each bowl has the same line afterwards. The final model goes in the ceramic oven where it is hard dried and made durable. Finally the bowl is lacquered white.
Design
The Lilt set aims to be minimalistic, yet dynamic. Convex and concave lines at the top guarantee the bowl’s unique and outstanding look. With its classy form it perfectly blends in in your existing breakfast dish, yet stands out due to its dynamical lines. It’s timeless character and material ensure longevity – good for you and the environment!
